Novelty/patentability Search
Before a patent application is prepared it is very important to determine whether or not the invention will be patentable based on the published prior art that currently exists. This searches cover all of the granted and published applications of the patent offices; as well as domain relevant non-patent literature.
EUROPEAN PATENTS
European patents are granted by the European Patent Office (EPO) which is very useful for individual inventors and companies seeking patent protection in up to 38 European countries.
PATENT Maintenance
The patents
are subject to maintenance fees which are the fees that are required to be paid to the Patent Office in order to maintain the patent and keep the patent from falling into the pubic domain. Usually these fees are annually and they are different from country to country. We have a special alert system to manage the maintenance of the patent portfolios of our clients. |
