Trade Marks
Trademarks are distinctive signs, used to differentiate between identical or similar goods and services offered by different producers or services providers.

Trademark law has been a core activity of ARINOVA for many years. We always advise in advance of any trademark application: e.g. we devise a trademark strategy, draw up product lists and undertake a similarity research.

We have our own Creative Agency specialized in (re)designing protectable logos and packaging for a successful application.

Our whole know-how is at your disposal, from the preliminary research stage through application to ongoing monitoring and enforcement of your claims.

Community trade Marks (European Union)
We offer representation before the Trade Marks and Designs Registration Office of the European Union (OHIM) which is responsible for registering trade marks and designs that are valid in all 27 countries of the EU.

International trade Marks (WIPO)
The international registration of trademarks is governed by two treaties: the Madrid Agreement concerning the International Registration of Marks, concluded in 1891, and the Protocol relating to it, concluded in 1989. The Madrid Agreement and the Madrid Protocol together form the Madrid system for the international registration of trademarks.
They ensure that one international filing, registration or recognition of a given industrial property right will have effect in any of the designated contracting parties. This is a WIPO-administered global protection system.

Trade mark Portfolios
A trade mark portfolio may comprise registered trade marks and service marks (together referred to herein as trademarks) and trademarks that are in use but not necessarily registered. We offer the services of management and evaluation of the company's trade mark portfolios. These includes also the development of different strategies related to the use of the trade marks.

Trade Mark Monitoring
It is important to monitor unauthorized use of your trade marks in order to be able to act quickly against any infrigement. On the other hand, there is necessary to monitor the trade marks protection periods in order to pay the renewal fees in time.
